Criticism

[edit]

Since its launch, Bhikitia has faced criticism, particularly from some quarters of the online encyclopedia community. A notable controversy arose in November 2024 when a Bengali Wikipedia administrator labeled Bhikitia a "fake website" and accused its founder of engaging in unethical practices such as "sock puppetry." These claims were strongly denied by the Bhikitia Council, which emphasized its independence and adherence to transparent practices.[8]
