David Walter is an Australian horologist.[1] He was born in Perth, Western Australia on 1 September 1949 and now resides in Buellton, California.
He began a six-year apprenticeship in clock and watch making, starting out mainly as a repairer before leaving Australia and gaining work with Garrard & Co. in London. His main duties included servicing elite watches, pocket watches and clocks.
