Statement by Incrdiblehumans87
On March 30, 2021, I posted a new section to the Polisario Front’s Wikipedia page, relating to their human rights violations. The content of the text focused specifically on the matter of women’s rights abuses in the Polisario-run Tindouf refugee camps, and their kidnapping of journalists. All matters which have been documented and reported on at the highest international levels. (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Polisario_Front&oldid=1015077429). A day later, on March 31, my edit to the page was reverted by Wikipedia user, M.Bitton, who claimed the sources used were not sufficiently strong. While not every source cited was a primary, academic one, they were still reliable and legitimate. It felt that the removal had ideological motives behind it, as the user did not make any other edits to the page where sources were completely lacking, or considerably less legitimate than the ones I had cited. (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Polisario_Front&oldid=1015155046)
On April 5, I uploaded an updated text to the page, which was revised further for both content and source legitimacy. (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Polisario_Front&oldid=1016102643) Despite this, the edit was once again reverted by same user, this time within hours, and falsely claiming the text misrepresented the primary sources cited. (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Polisario_Front&oldid=1016125419) On April 13, after refining the text to the most precise, academic level possible, with no discrepancy between the facts asserted and the primary sources cited, I uploaded the text to the page for a third time. (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Polisario_Front&oldid=1017566439) The edit was removed removed within minutes by the same account (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Polisario_Front&oldid=1017570019), who also left messages on my Talk page asking “what I was getting at” with the text. This made the entire matter highly suspicious. (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Polisario_Front&oldid=1015953314)
I have attempted to directly engage the user, and asked in return why the text was reverted, and questioning what it was they consider to be misrepresented, and received no response. Following the third deletion of the section, I again tried to engage the user, and gain an understanding of why they deleted our section with what now appeared to be purely ideological motives, and wouldn’t explain where our claims failed to correspond to the primary sources we used. (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:M.Bitton&oldid=1017569339) Not only did the user not respond, but they reverted my own inquiry to them on the Talk page, which is against the ordinary protocols and values of Wikipedia. I now believe M.bitton is motivated by his Algerian origins, rather than facts/truth. (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:M.Bitton&oldid=1017569876) As Wikipedia’s values themselves promote, all issues, no matter how controversial, are deserving of their platform on the site, so long as they are truthful and supported by appropriate sources. I have ensured to do so on multiple occasions, and have made sure the information I posted to the page was free of biased language, and told truth to fact backed up by the highest level sources. This was still not accepted by M.Bitton, or even responded to, unfortunately necessitating this arbitration. I fear Polisario's human rights violations are under-represented because of M.Bitton's political agenda. They seem to control this article entirely, blocking attempts at discussing the issue of human rights, which is UN-sourced.
Thank you

Deepfriedokra Their personal attacks and the peculiar use of the word (instead of enquiry) confirm what I suspected all along, that the OP is yet another sock of Taha Khattabi, aka EdDakhla (see previous SPI for more info). *Well, this looks like a content dispute.
*Filer should read the page about dispute resolution. Having a talk page message reverted does not exhaust all the steps short of ArbCom
*Accusing another editor of political motivations looks like a lack of WP:AGF
*Removing a message on one's talk page is completely acceptable. Perhaps filer should become more familiar with Wikipedia "protocols and values" M.Bitton did respond at Talk:Polisario_Front#Human_Rights_Violations
*Is their a hint of racism in the air? Algerian origins? --<b><span style="color:black">Deep</span><span style="color:red">fried</span><span style="color:DarkOrange">okra</span> (<span style="color:black">talk</span>)</b> 09:17, 11 May 2021 (UTC).
*Wait. Our section? Our claims? --<b><span style="color:black">Deep</span><span style="color:red">fried</span><span style="color:DarkOrange">okra</span> (<span style="color:black">talk</span>)</b> 09:19, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

*Decline per what Deepfriedokra said. I'll leave the question of the username implying shared use (see WP:ISU) for another admin to handle.
