I think this is a good opportunity to look at this article after six months on the GA shelf and figure out what is and isn't encyclopedic. There is a lot of detail, but is all of it relevant? Otherwise, we have a solid article here. Ping me when addressed. Sammi Brie (she/her · t · c) 02:43, 26 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Encouragements are not necessary to meet GA criteria but are recommended. • Did you know? If you fancy doing so, I always have plenty of GA nominees to review. Just look for the all-uppercase titles in the Television section. Reviews always appreciated.

Lead

  • Lill almost quit the acting profession due to his struggle in getting acting roles and he worked various jobs in between acting roles, including as a car salesman, which he did not like. Clean up: Lill almost quit the acting profession due to his struggle in getting acting roles and worked various jobs in between acting, including as a car salesman, which he did not like.

Early life and career

  • This section could use a sectional split. It is large and lacks a subheader or two.
  • When he was a child, Still watch the drama Waterloo Road and he considered it his favourite show. Should be When he was a child, Lill watched the drama Waterloo Road, which he considered his favourite show.
  • the soap producers of the soap In addition to the redundancy, I'd at least use Coronation Street here as "the soap" is in the sentences either side.
  • Try varying the starts of sentences here, as you have a lot of sentences beginning "Lill..."
  • shouldn't it be "scripts"?
  • Lill enjoyed portraying Joel's villainous side as he found it more fun, but did not "camp it up" due to the storyline being a serious matter. Complete the appositive with a comma after "side"
  • Lill found an episode that was mostly him and Fitton to be the most challenging part of his time on the soap, but added that they felt "privileged" to be "trusted" with it. Add "he" after "but"
  • However, Lill also revealed that he struggled to be comfortable when he started on the soap and would criticise himself when he would watch his scenes in episodes, but revealed Sentence is long.
  • Lill told Radio Times that Joel's exposure as a villain was "bittersweet" for him as whilst he was excited to get to the end of the storyline, he did not want to leave the soap as he had really enjoyed it and made some good friends there, calling it "the most incredible place to work" and "the best year" of his life. Another sentence worth splitting. Lill told Radio Times that Joel's exposure as a villain was "bittersweet" for him. Whilst he was excited to get to the end of the storyline, he did not want to leave the soap as he had really enjoyed it and made some good friends there, calling it "the most incredible place to work" and "the best year" of his life.
  • Lill had left the show in July 2024, but returned to film the flashback episode that aired that November. I'll just leave a WP:CINS note here, though I tend not to review on this heavily in British English articles.
  • Lill's co-stars got him several presents, including a St Christopher's pendant as a leaving gift as it was meant to protect travellers as he was "travelling away from them", and they gave him a round of applause and they went out together for drinks. Is this encyclopedic detail?
  • Lill appeared in Good Morning Britain Forgive me for my ENGVAR question, but is "in" correct here for BrEng over "on"?

Personal life

  • McClaron got on well with Sterling-Brown and they had a groupchat with McClaron's friend called "The Girls Featuring Calum". Try McClaron got on well with Sterling-Brown; they had a group chat with McClaron's friend called "The Girls Featuring Calum"
    • Is it McClaron or McClarron?
