Added to eSports Wikiproject

[edit]

I added this article to the eSports wikiproject as prior to her entry into politics, Zephyr played Super Smash Brothers at a competitive level, if you disagree with this article being added to this wikiproject, please reach out to me. -Samoht27 (talk) 22:06, 18 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Elected Officials MUST be exempt from Deadname rules!

[edit]

Current politics requiring scouring the backgrounds of, and investigating all rumors and allegations about, elected officials and major party candidates. It's intolerable that Wikipedia abets politicians who assume new and fictitious names by denying the public access to their true, legal, birth name. Nothing historic in this article can be verified, because none of it happened under the name provided. 98.165.25.234 (talk) 16:38, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

No, absolutely not. Everything in this article is verified. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:58, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Discussion of a policy change about WP:DEADNAME should go to WP:PUMP rather than being on one specific politician's talk page. lizthegrey (talk) 17:24, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Did this person do anything notable and sourcable under a previous name that she is still known for as that name? Do you have any sources that the name used in this article is not her legal name? How would she get elected under a "fictitious" name and not her legal name? What is a "fictitious name"? What are some other examples of Wikipedia using "fictitious" names for politicians? (or anyone for that matter, unless you mean stage names or pen names? in which case wouldn't bringing this up for an article like Mark Twain be better?) Ringtail Raider (talk) 19:40, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This is her legal name, and has been since she became a notable individual. Most accurate sources use this name as well. -Samoht27 (talk) 21:27, 1 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
WP:NONAZIS. Either change your ways or get out of Wikipedia. Your kind is not welcome here.
We know what you're really saying, and it's less of a dog whistle than a megaphone. (More like MAGAphone.)
Wikipedians REALLY need to stop feeding the trolls. SerialDesignationV (talk) 16:12, 19 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Clarifying current situation regarding Zephyr being barred from the house

[edit]

Maybe add on the end of the legal action section something clarifying whether she is currently allowed to speak on the house floor? I assume not based on the article so just for the sake of clarity. Jocoder2 (talk) 14:13, 5 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Change "On subsequent days, a group of Zephyr's supporters, primarily a group of tech workers able to work remotely dubbed "he Blue Bench Brigade," came in and occupied the bench to save Zephyr’s spot." to "On subsequent days, a group of Zephyr's supporters, primarily a group of tech workers able to work remotely dubbed "The Blue Bench Brigade," came in and occupied the bench to save Zephyr’s spot. 98.38.119.110 (talk) 22:21, 5 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
