Template:Introductory article
Appearance
This template should be used on introductory articles, that serve as a general presentation to some technical topic. It takes one input variable, the title of the main encyclopaedia article. For example,

A second main article is supported. e.g.
{{Introductory article|Quantum mechanics|Uncertainty principle}} produces:
To customize the first sentence of the leadin text, an optional |leadin= parameter can be used:
{{Introductory article|Quantum mechanics|leadin=This article is an less detailed introduction to the subject.}} produces:
The template puts the article automatically into Category:Introductory articles ( 11 ).
For the main article, place {{See introduction}} at the top.
