Laurel House is an American writer, relationship coach, and media personality.

She is the creator of PrioriDating®, a self-awareness-based approach to intentional dating that was described on On Air with Ryan Seacrest as “a revolutionary technique to create lasting love” and featured in Cosmopolitan.[2][3] She is the host of DateNight… with Laurel House, a multimedia show offering actionable dating and relationship advice,[4] and co-host of RomConned, a true-crime-meets-dating series exploring the intersection of love and deception.

House also founded Love Actually Academy, where she teaches her 3Cs Method — Communication → Clarity → Confidence — and serves as a long-time relationship expert for eHarmony.[5][6]

House is a monthly guest of KTLA hosting segments for their morning news program and appears as a dating expert on Nightline, The Today Show, E! News, and Good Morning America. In 2016, House was a dating coach on the E! Network original series, Famously Single with a cast of celebrities including: Brandi Glanville, the Bachelorette's Josh Murray, Pauly D, Love & Hip Hop's Somaya Reece, Aubrey O'Day, Jessica White, Willis McGahee and Calum Best.[7][8]

House has been described as an expert on flirting and emotional connection, and has been referred to in media as “the Man Whisperer.”[9]

House’s advice and commentary have been featured in numerous national publications and broadcasts, including Vogue[11][12], The Washington Post[13][14][15][16] and The Wall Street Journal.[17]

In 2015, House co-hosted a dating game show entitled Love Bites that aired on the FYI Network helping daters on blind dinner dates.[18]

In 2016, she was a dating coach on the E! Network original series, Famously Single with a cast of celebrities including: Brandi Glanville, the Bachelorette's Josh Murray, Pauly D, Love & Hip Hop's Somaya Reece, Aubrey O'Day, Jessica White, Willis McGahee and Calum Best.[7]

House also has her own YouTube channel DateNight… with Laurel House (YouTube).

Since 2010, House is dating consultant,[19] who has trademarked a concept called PrioriDating that emphasizes early identification and communication of one’s relationship priorities.[2] She has a Love Actually Academy and, in 2024, co-created a podcast and multimedia series, RomConned, with criminologist Dr. Alex del Carmen.

Additionally, House co-hosted The Great Love Debate on PodcastOne.[20]

Personal life

House is married to contractor Robert Alonzo and the couple have four children. The couple also run a hom-services company in Los Angeles.[26]

House often integrates her personal experiences as a partner, parent, and entrepreneur into her relationship coaching and media work, emphasizing authenticity and emotional communication in both love and life.
