Morgan Bowen is the Democratic candidate for Congress in Utah's 1st District. He is challenging Republican incumbent Rob Bishop.
Background
[edit]Morgan Bowen was born in Spanish Fork, Utah in ?. When he was just ? years old, his family moved to Merced, California, where Morgan grew up. At age 17, Morgan was the youngest student body president ever elected at Merced College. In 1984, he worked as a legislative intern for Congressman Richard Lehman in Washington, DC.
Morgan served a mission for the LDS Church in Montana and Wyoming. Upon his return he married Kristen Matheson in the Oakland California LDS Temple. Morgan graduated from Merced College with an AA degree in General Studies, CSU Stanislaus with a BA in History, and Utah State University with a MS in American Studies.
