CollapseNoticeboardHeaders is a script to tidy up admin noticeboard pages by auto collapsing the header Nav sections and folding up banners so you get right to the content without having to scroll past it all.
Banners will expand when clicked on and collapse again when you leave them.
Pretty admin specific unless as a user you are visiting these boards regularly otherwise.
Currently works on WP:AN, WP:ANI, WP:AIV, WP:UAA, WP:RFPP, WP:SPI, WP:ANEW, WP:PERM and WP:BLP
Installation
[edit]To install the script, follow these steps:
- In your preferences, go to Preferences → Gadgets. At the bottom of the "Advanced" section, click the "Install scripts without having to manually edit JavaScript files (documentation)" checkbox, then click the "Save" button.
- Return to this page and click the blue "Install" button.
Alternatively, you can manually install it by adding the following code to your common.js file:

Configuration
[edit]There are no configuration settings.
Notes
[edit]- Should work with all themes, definitely works with both variants of Vector.
- Q: Why not just CSS? A: The relevant banner elements don't have element IDs or classes and so can't be easily directly targeted by pure CSS, hence this script.
