Citation dates

Hi, I noticed on Hop Fastpass that you changed the dates from being the ISO standard to being the American style and using words. It looks like {{cite news}} says that YYYY-MM-DD should be used(but that may just be the way I'm interpreting it, it's not super clear). Is there a reason you formatted them the way you did, or can I change them back? Thanks.–DMartin 22:34, 16 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Dmartin969: Per MOS:DATERET, the existing date format used in the majority of the article should be retained, even in citations. ProveIt also messes with the order of parameters (against the guidance of cite news) and deleted a completely valid {{dead link}} tag in a citation.
