Welcome, & some advice
[edit]Hello, Thatoneraynerd and welcome to contributing to Wikipedia. I can see that you have put quite a bit of work into Draft:Rayman 4 (Cancelled prototype). However, I think it fair to warn you that there's a danger that your work may be wasted, because it is unlikely that the subject will be considered to satisfy Wikipedia's notability guidelines; if it isn't, then no article about it, no matter how well written, is likely to survive.
My advice to new editors is that it is best to start by making small improvements to existing articles, rather than creating new articles. That way any mistakes you make will be small ones, and you won't have the discouraging experience of repeatedly seeing hours of work deleted. Gradually, you will get to learn how Wikipedia works, and after a while you will know enough about what is acceptable to be able to write whole new articles without fear that they will be deleted. Over the years I have found that editors who start by making small changes to existing articles and work up from there have a far better chance of having a successful time here than those who jump right into creating new articles from the start. A question
[edit]By the way, are you the same person as Itsamesnaz? JBW (talk) 19:53, 6 September 2025 (UTC)
- yes, lost my prev acc. Thatoneraynerd (talk) 20:03, 6 September 2025 (UTC)
- I recommend attaching an email address to your account, so that if necessary you can get a password reset email. You can also set it so that you can receive emails from other editors if you like, but that's optional. You can make these changes in your "preferences". JBW (talk) 20:24, 6 September 2025 (UTC)

[edit]to be fair i am pretty new, i'm still learning the ropes... Thatoneraynerd (talk) 20:04, 6 September 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, of course. We all have to start somewhere, and most of us don't start perfectly. As long as you are willing to learn as you go along, and listen to more experienced editors who can advise you, you should do all right. JBW (talk) 20:21, 6 September 2025 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:CBBC are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks.
