This biography is a hoax, such person probably never existed. The anarchist period in his life is just a compilation of Max and Siegfried Nacht biographies [1]. Google and Google Books don't know Nester Trubecki; there is no any book about I Proletariat, where the name Trubecki/Trubeckoy is mentioned, i checked also in few other books about polish and russian revolutionary movement - no results. The only author of this article (and few others articles about Trubeckoy family) is well known spammer User:Bloomfield (Tonu Trubecki) and seems that all the biographies about his family are hoaxes (for example the only known Paweł Trubecki was a sculptor, lived 1866 – 1938). - Delete per nom. (PS you could have left the PROD notice & let it expire/be removed before moving to AfD). Renata (talk) 15:05, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- No I couldn't. This article is the most visible proof that everything (or at least almost everything) what Tõnu Trubetsky wrote about his "family" is only a myth. If we delete this article before the discussion we will lose the proof. --W Goslar (talk) 17:49, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete I'm glad finally somebody else wants to do something about this nonsense from Bloomfield's the Principality of Estland series. It's so boring, I tagged all those Troubetzkoy#Generations way back but it was quickly reverted.--Termer (talk) 03:21, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Some of them (Trubetzkoys) was the real persons; for example Wladimir, Ivan Betskoy and Ivan Trubetzkoy as well. But I don't know if the biographical details are true or false. --W Goslar (talk) 18:15, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- most of those Trubetzkoy articles have no references or have been referenced to private web pages and wikipedia mirrors. That's why I tagged those with WP:OR at one point. But it was quickly reverted by an IP editor. Perhaps the whole thing should be taken to WP:ORN...just that all this nonsense Bloomfield has left and keeps maintaining on wikipedia is so overwhelming that nobody has had a chance to figure it out and clean it up entirely. There are few who have been on it for years but I feel it has just scratched the surface.--Termer (talk) 21:34, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I went with a chainsaw thru the Trubetzkoy articles. I redirected articles that had only genealogical information with no biographical stuff. I also removed family info from remaining articles. Someone who reads Russian should check biographical details of the remaining articles (one of them claimed that Empress Catherine of Russia was of Trubetzkoy blood). - Delete. It might be easier to delete everything Bloomfield has touched and just start over where needed. --Sander Säde 09:22, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Mayby better to delete not what he touched, but what he created and then check what he destroyed in other articles. He touched hundreds of articles... But for sure, if he wrote that Catherine II was of Trubetzkoy blood, we don't have to check it but delete --W Goslar (talk) 16:21, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
