Pascal Dennis (born 1957) is a Canadian entrepreneur, business consultant, board advisor, author, speaker, and composer. He is recognized for his work on strategy execution, continuous improvement, and innovation, and is a four-time recipient of the Shingo Prize for Research and Publication.[1][2] In addition to his business career, Dennis has released multiple albums of original music that blend country, blues, rock, jazz, and bossa nova.[3]
Biography
[edit]Dennis was born in 1957 in Toronto, Canada.[4] His parents were migrants from Greece who settled in Toronto's Kensington Market area and later operated a diner, the Imperial Grill, which has been referenced in some of Dennis' works.[5]
Dennis obtained a Master of Engineering degree at the University of Toronto's School of Chemical Engineering in 1982 and received his Professional Engineer license from the Professional Engineers of Ontario in 1991.[6] He studied the Toyota Production System while working at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada in the 1990s.[7]
Starting in 2000, Dennis founded and co-founded consulting firms including Lean Pathways and Digital Pathways.[8] In 2022, he completed INSEAD's International Director Program.[9]
