Comment: I do not see sourcing that meets WP:CORPDEPTH and WP:ORGIND. Several of your sources are also press releases or articles sponsored by Wishew, which are not independent. MCE89 (talk) 13:44, 10 December 2025 (UTC)

Wishew[a], is an Italian social media, and crowdfunding application developed by Wishew LTD,[2] and launched in 2024.[3][4] The platform allows users to share photos and short-form videos, create posts, and communicate with other users through an instant messaging feature. One of the principal features of the app is to create a wish post and receive microdonations from other users.[4]
It was created by the Italian entrepreneurs Giacomo Vose, Antonino Risicato, and Vincenzo De Caro. The platform employs a mobile-first design that integrates social networking and crowdfunding features, focusing on user engagement and community support.[5]
History
[edit]In 2022, Giacomo Vose,[6][7] Antonino Risicato, and Vincenzo De Caro, founded Wishew LTD, a software development startup.[8][2][b] The company began developing a mobile application called Wishew, designed to promote social interaction centered on altruistic contributions rather than conventional popularity metrics such as "likes."[4] It positions itself between social networking and crowdfunding services, promoting what it calls âhuman centered generosityâ.[9]
On 3 January 2024, the first web-based prototype of Wishew was released online.[10] Although the prototype was basic and non-functional, it featured a registration waiting list.[11] In the same year, it secured a seed funding investment of âŹ10 million from LMDV capitalist Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio,[12] who provided the initial financing of âŹ10 million.[4]
On 29 April 2024, the Wishew iOS and Android app[5] was made available in United States through the App Store and Play Store.[4] Before its official release, it reportedly attracted over 50,000 pre-registered users, two weeks before its release.[4] On 20 May 2025, Wishew launched in Italy,[13] after made available in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.[13] In May 2025, it unveiled its plans to launch its services in North Africa, South America, and the Middle East.[13][14]
