Radio con Vos is an Argentine radio station that broadcasts from Buenos Aires on 89.9 MHz FM. It launched under its current brand on 9 March 2015 and features a schedule focused on news, current-affairs talk and magazine shows.[1] It is licensed to Afakot S.A.[2]

History

[edit]

The 89.9 MHz frequency in Buenos Aires had previously used the brand La Isla before the launch of Radio con Vos in 2015.[3]

On 6 May 2019, Argentina’s ENACOM adjudicated the FM 89.9 license to Afakot S.A., setting the transmitter site at Carlos Calvo 3080 and the studios at Humboldt 1477, both in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.[2]

In December 2024, Argentine businessman Gabriel Hochbaum acquired 70% of Radio con Vos, with the remaining 30% retained by Martín Kweller’s Kuarzo Entertainment.[4][5] In August 2025, the station announced programming and organizational changes in Argentina; national outlets reported the removal of several shows.[6][7][8]

Besides Buenos Aires (FM 89.9), the station’s programming is relayed by affiliates in several Argentine provinces, including Puerto Madryn (90.1 FM), Bariloche (89.5 FM), Comodoro Rivadavia (100.1 FM), Corrientes (88.3 FM), Eldorado (97.7 FM), General Roca (91.1 FM), Puerto Iguazú (91.5 FM), Neuquén (95.7 FM), Oberá (102.3 FM), Paraná (94.5 FM), Posadas (94.1 FM), Resistencia (90.5 FM), Rosario (107.5 FM), Salta (89.7 FM), San Juan (AM 1120), San Luis (105.1 FM) and Santa Rosa (97.1 FM). All these repeaters operate in Argentina.[9]
