Need new sources on endorsing Sanders and gun control

[edit]

Currently the sources given for Edinger's comments on gun control and supporting Bernie Sanders don't contain anything about him. I have been unable to find anything else on my own. Please post new ones or take them down.108.196.40.52 (talk) 22:51, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is unecyclopedic, poorly written trivia. I removed it but then a WP:SPA added it back without explanation. Why should it be in this article? Sro23 (talk) 18:30, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This seems like it was written by the man himself... why else would a community college GPA be a wiki bio??? simply bizarre — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.61.212.226 (talk) 14:55, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

LinkedIn is NOT a source for Wikipedia

[edit]

A lot of this biography is sourced to the subject's LinkedIn profile which is entirely self-created. It is WP:PROMO (triple major?!) Also, he is supposedly in a relationship with a woman despite being asexual and "near demisexual". And all of that is sourced to his Instagram, also not a WP:RS WP:NPOV source, same as LinkedIn. I will look for some sort of independent coverage of him besides being one of many non-notable although successful Youtubers. Any info that other editors can provide would be appreciated. Feel free to put the link here, or just edit it in yourself, thanks. --FeralOink (talk) 23:51, 17 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I went through the article and removed the LinkedIn and Instagram citations, along with the relationship mention, since they weren’t supported by reliable independent sources and raised BLP concerns. I replaced those with external references where available. For example, an NJ.com article covering his time at Salem Community College, an archived American Expat Finance profile, SJ Magazine describing him as “Deptford-raised,” and a 2012 Her Campus interview that confirms Rowan graduation. The BBC, Independent, TenEighty, and Mashable references that were already in the article remain.
Given these changes, the remaining content is now supported by third-party sources, and I’ve removed the and tags. If anyone spots specific statements that still lack reliable sourcing, please flag them so they can be fixed. TwinTelepathy (talk) 11:41, 18 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
