Substitution of this template generates wikitext for the chemical structure image associated with a supplied chemical compound. The image reference is retrieved via Wikidata. Optionally, one may supply the Wikidata qualifier ID with the qid parameter instead of naming the chemical compound.
Parameters are those found on the image syntax page.
Note: When alt text is not supplied it defaults to: "2D representation of the chemical structure of {{{1}}}", where 1 is the supplied chemical compound name.
