How to make an edit request
- If this is your first time making an edit request, please read Wikipedia:Edit requests.
- Be specific; say exactly what you would like to be changed. If applicable, create or replace the sandbox with a copy of the current template, apply the edit there and create some test cases that demonstrate it.
- Give your reasons for the edit. Requests without any reasons could be declined.

This template is shown as an "editintro" when a user clicks on the "Submit an edit request" button from MediaWiki:Protectedpagetext. This template is used by Module:Submit an edit request/config.
