Usage
This template is a general-purpose template for Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations, which is intended to replace the old RFCU and SPIclose templates as well as formally deprecate the old "code letter" system of CheckUser requests.
The template takes only one parameter, which is optional. Details are given below.

When a status parameter is placed as shown above, it will display the following:

| relist or relisted | Category:SPI cases relisted for a CheckUser |  – An SPI clerk has relisted this case for a checkuser to make another check.

| close or closed | Category:SPI cases awaiting archive |  – This SPI case is closed and will be archived shortly by an SPI clerk or checkuser.

Categorization will be suppressed if this template is transcluded on any Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/SPI page or subpage or any page that is not a subpage.
