I'm de jure part of some WikiProjects (more info in the userboxes section) but I'm quite capricious and haven't edited in many of those topics in a while. Hopefully that's ok?
Change references to emoji in articles to Template:Unichar (e.g. instead of writing "the heart eyes emoji (😍)" write "U+1F60D😍SMILING FACE WITH HEART-SHAPED EYES")
They stole my personal brand to use as the special characters option in the toolbar! How terrible! I expect the Foundation to give me all the money they own as damages because I just wanna watch the world burn.
I think it's important to announce one's moral pillars so that we are transparent on how they may impact our actions and thought processes. Even "neutral" actions like editing may be influenced by such. Keeping this in mind, I am a socialist and a democratic socialist specifically, largely possibilist but wishing for much more than the reforms under social democracy. I believe open borders are a human right and that a binational state should be set up in Palestine. More political views may be added to the userboxes section below, or even duplicated. (userboxes rule.)
This is not meant as a cudgel to be used against any edits I make ad hominem, but more so that one may take extra care in certain arguments and their Overton Window. For example, a certain political view for you may seem obvious fact, but in a dispute where political views may cloud both of our judgements on a state of a Wikipedia article, you're going to have to convince me farther and with more logic that your opinion on the article's state is based off fact and not opinion, especially in the case if it conflicts with one of my political views, as I may simply take my own opinions as facts and unconsciously assume you are acting on opinion.
I of course believe that we can write a NPOV encyclopedia that teaches facts, not opinions, but that doesn't mean sweeping biases under the rug. We should declare our political views like any conflict of interest.
Also, it is a genocide, no matter what Wales and Sanger say, and really we need more democracy in the WMF's relations with Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects in general.
