Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Alex Blackwell (cricketer) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Conflict of interest notice

[edit]

Information icon Hello, 175.45.116.95. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Alex Blackwell (cricketer), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 22:40, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia content

[edit]

Wikipedia goes by what wp:reliable sources and wp:policy state. This is article is on Wikimedia servers, and content is dictated by policy, not Blackwell. Do not remove sourced content. If you see a policy-related problem with content, use a wp:edit request on talk:Alex Blackwell (cricketer). Editing the article Alex Blackwell (cricketer) itself is not advisable given your COI. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 22:40, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV Warning

[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, you may be blocked from editing. —Formal Dude (talk) 04:47, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This is a shared IP address

[edit]

Please note that this is a shared IP address and that the user of this IP address in March 2017 who made legitimate changes to 'Buddhism and Christianity' is not the same user who had used this ip address to vandalize wikipedia pages with racist comments in february 2016, or the one that edited a cricketer`s article in february 2017. Therefore there is no point in calling all the three different users vandals, or acussing them of continuous disruptive editing. Please also check your own neutral point of view as well. 210.7.24.147 (talk) 12:44, 26 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
