Michael Scanlan Priest

[edit]

I do not understand why you reverted the edits I made. I spent hours researching this. You can go to the New Jersey Court Website, eCourts Civil Case Jacket and look at Case No. 0088648-20 and see that Scanlan was dismissed before the case every even started against him. That who discussion is demonstrable false.

Footnote 10 does not even mention him.

The other cites fail under even the slightest epistemic scrutiny. As a lawyer for 25 years, I can say with metaphysical certitude that scurrilous allegations are easy to make, hard to disprove, and rarely should be dignified with propagation. Jdfoxjd (talk) 14:56, 17 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Jdfoxjd: I asked an admin, Drmies to review this. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 23:34, 17 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Adakiko,

The PROD tag on this article was removed when it was converted to a Redirect which happens a lot with PROD'd articles. You shouldn't have added it back when you reverted this edit. Also, many PROD'd articles are coverted to Redirects, do not assume this was vandalism. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 08:01, 23 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I was asked by Therese Oulton to edit her page, information were inexact. please don’t revert again if I make any changes. if you need I have her email asking me to edit the page. Lucagero71 (talk) 20:16, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Lucagero71: You have a wp:conflict of interest and should 1) disclose it on user:Lucagero71 2) should use a WP:COIREQ to request an edit be made. Adakiko (talk) 20:20, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I’m not sure I have a conflict of interest: we were reading her Wikipedia page and she asked me if I could make some change for her, she is not able to do by herself and some of the information in the page are not correct. Please let me know how can I ask to change part of the description. Regards Lucagero71 (talk) 20:26, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Lucagero71: That you are doing this for Therese Oulton makes you a likely COI. I added more info to your talk page. Adakiko (talk) 20:41, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Ethnic majority

[edit]

Hello Adakiko, I wanted to add an explanation why I did it, however I mistakenly pushed the button 'publish changes' before doing so. I edited it because it provides with the information which is connected to the topic, but is not the main object of the article explaining the definitions which are already better explain in the related articles 'race' and 'ethnicity'. I think that it would be better if it talked more about the concept of ethnic majority itself, especially in politics, maybe bringing some examples from Europe, Asia and Africa. At the same time it makes a small mistake, it explains the definition of both race and ethnicity but states that 'White Americans is an ethnic majority in the US' however 'White American' is rather a racial term because a White American can view his ethnic background as being 'Polish', 'German' or 'Italian'. A Polish person who acquires the American citizenship is 'White' by race, but stays 'Polish' by ethnicity, while 'American' is a political term describing one's citizenship. Same goes for 'White British', a person may have the English/Scottish ethnicity while being White(race) and British(citizenship) at the same time. So, White American can also be described as a person with a political connection(citizenship) to the American state who is racially White, even though there are people who could see 'American' as an ethnic group because they've been living there generationally with no clear connection to any other background. Therefore it should either explain the duality of this term or not talk about it at all. ~2025-38425-71 (talk) 20:23, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Adakiko, I am not sure why my edits got reversed. These citations are quite well-researched. If you can let me know specifically what needs to be changed or cited, i can look further into it. thank you. Killerofcups (talk) 02:15, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Replied on Killerofcups' talk page. Adakiko (talk) 02:21, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Adakiko, I received your message about reverting my edits on Thai basil. I'm not sure how a tangent on how different uses of basil in Thai cuisine--that starts talking about other varieties of basil--is relevant to Thai basil, which is a specific cultivar of basil. They are two distinctly different topics, and I think reasonably uses of basil in Thai cuisine is out of scope for a page that's supposed to provide information about a specific type of basil. I am looking forward to reading why this would not be flagged as irrelevant, as I'd like to understand why this is not a constructive edit. ~2025-38484-02 (talk) 12:09, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please discuss this on talk:Thai basil and get wp:consensus. See wp:BRD. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 13:06, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

1963 shooting of Rep. Eladio Caliwara

[edit]

Common sense is needed. Adding unrelated details disrupts the historical narrative of the province. Are there not clear guidelines on what content should be included in this specific section? For now, I do not intend to continue editing here, as the current approach seems unnecessarily convoluted. Halaga (talk) 21:48, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Re Quezon, replying on Halaga's talk page. Adakiko (talk) 21:51, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Huh? Okay, bye. You act like robots. Halaga (talk) 21:58, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Halaga: still working on it. Please avoid the attacks? Thank you Adakiko (talk) 21:59, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for clarifying things. Sorry, I didn’t fully understand your words. I’ll leave you all to the discussion. This will be my last message, as I don’t intend to continue editing. I’m logging out. This is my last log-in. Thank you again. Best of luck. Halaga (talk) 22:30, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
