Question from Manmohanmanher (11:51, 7 October 2025)

[edit]

Hello, Hope you are doing well. can u guide me the procedure for editing. I am new to this section. Thanks in advance --Manmohanmanher (talk) 11:51, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Manmohanmanher Try to find something that interests you, and be WP:BOLD! If someone disagrees with you, WP:COMMUNICATE! At WP:TUTORIAL is a how-to guide, and WP:TASKS has some suggestions of stuff that needs doing. Also, if you check the talkpage of an article that interests you, you will often find links to Wikiprojects at/near the top, and you might find something that interests you there. You can try this video if you like: Become a Wikipedian in 30 minutes, Hope this helps some! Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 12:01, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I am trying to Edit Azim premji Wikipedia page- Criticism and controversy section and its not getting updated. Can you guide on this please Manmohanmanher (talk) 12:08, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Azim Premji is WP:PROTECTED, but since your last edit here was your 10th, you should now be able to edit that article, see WP:AUTOCONFIRM. Of course, what you change, others can change again. I assume you read the response you had at Talk:Azim_Premji#Semi-protected_edit_request_on_6_October_2025.
The process is this: You make a change you think improves Wikipedia. So do other people. If you disagree, you talk about it, doing your best to follow Wikipedias policies and guidelines, more at WP:DR. The goal of the WP-article about Azim Premji is to be a summary of reliable sources, WP:RS, about but independent of Azim Premji. See also WP:BLP. Draft:Dr James Mahon any advice or tips on this one? Also edited some football stuff in Scotland for context ScotchBroth1984UK (talk) 15:34, 15 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, i have had one bio draft that got rejected for a footballer turned club owner and another that is under review for a Scotland based journalist,
For the one that is under review on the journalist, i have found extra secondary sources per the feedback from the first person and per the comments from the second person i have found more current sources.
I have mentioned these sources in the Talk space, is this where i should put them to aid the reviewing process? or do i need to put them into the draft and in text for this?- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:James_Mahon_(journalist)
Any advice welcome please, ScotchBroth1984UK (talk) 09:15, 21 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@ScotchBroth1984UK I'm looking at Draft:James Mahon (journalist), and the first impression is a bit of WP:OVERCITE. For example "based in Scotland." should not need 3 cites (and WP-style is "as of 2023..." or whatever date your source have). Of course, the sources have 2 purposes, supporting content and proving WP:N, but sources that only mention him in passing won't help with the second goal, so see if you can weed some of these out. The sources that you should use (assuming they exist) are those that are independent and actually tells us about his life in some detail, not just something he did recently. There is a distinction here between "source that writes about him" and "that's just an interview with him." A reviewer will be looking for WP:GNG sources, and if there are no obvious ones, they'll decline. 4 cites for "tv reporter" hints that you don't really have GNG-sources.
[1] might help you there (maybe you should mention he was born in Romania), a bit local, but local is not nothing. The Huffpo [2] is also better in this regard. These are the kind of sources you should focus on in the article.
Awards etc in a WP-article should generally be awards with WP-articles (or at least the org behind the award has one). "Multi-award winning" is basically WP:PUFFERY, but specific recognition can be mentioned if the sources are good (later in the article). I've never heard of SimFest, but for all I know, it might be a big thing in Romania. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 11:01, 21 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This is a huge help thank you, appreciate it, ScotchBroth1984UK (talk) 15:11, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Circuitshaker Are you talking about Draft:Huw Williams Music Producer? Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:02, 28 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
yes. thankyou Grabergs Circuitshaker (talk) 17:04, 28 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
how do I publish please Circuitshaker (talk) 18:47, 28 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The page has a blue button for that. However, in it's current shape it has no chance in hell of getting accepted. I recommend looking at WP:BACKWARD, WP:YFA and Wikipedia:An article about yourself isn't necessarily a good thing. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 18:52, 28 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hodwy! Do you think it is worth to mention that the chapter Chayei Sarah, litterally meaning Life of Sarah starts with Sarah’s death and has nothing else about Sarah further in the chapter? Tollef Salemann (talk) 12:57, 12 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Tollef Salemann Do you have a WP:RS where an academic or someone gives this as an example of humor in the bible? Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 15:25, 12 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Gvojnovic (14:24, 17 October 2025)

[edit]

Hello. I am new to Wikipedia. I would like to add a page about myself as a biography. Is this something that can be done? --Gvojnovic (talk) 14:24, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Gvojnovic Almost certainly not, but I have no idea who you are. First look at WP:N. If you conclude "Yeah, I have those sources, no problem!", move on to WP:YFA. I also recommend Wikipedia:An article about yourself isn't necessarily a good thing. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 15:21, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from GLstoryteller (21:02, 17 October 2025)

[edit]

Are you able to look at my draft before I publish it? Or is there a way for someone to check my draft before I send it live? thank you --GLstoryteller (talk) 21:02, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@GLstoryteller You can try asking at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Arts or WP:TEAHOUSE. One note is that your current ref [4] doesn't seem to support the article text at all, it's just a start page, and I assume it's WP:ABOUTSELF, so it's not good for "LeFevre is recognized". Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 03:03, 18 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Coopabit (16:23, 20 October 2025)

[edit]

hello! I have two questions. First, how can you create a new article? Second, where do i citate my sources for an edit. Thanks. --Coopabit (talk) 16:23, 20 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Coopabit Hello! Making an acceptable WP-article without knowing how to edit WP is hard. A common advice is to "just" edit for a while first, to try to get a hang of this place.
That said, your first hurdle is "Can a WP-article about your chosen subject be written at all?" Start with reading WP:BACKWARD. If you conclude "Yeah, I have those sources, no problem!", move on to WP:YFA. If your choice of topic fails WP:N, the article will not be accepted. On how to add references correctly, WP:TUTORIAL can help with that. If you intend to write about a living person, read WP:BLP. If you intend to write about yourself (WP:COI), the short advice is "don't." Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:23, 20 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Minor work

[edit]

Hi! I'm grateful for your work at the draft. Just wanted some clarification - MOS:MINORWORK doesn't mention seasons, but "plot arcs". MOS:MAJORWORK mentions serials, which (from the article) "typically follow main story arcs that span entire television seasons". Wouldn't TPOT and other seasons be closer to a serial? Total Drama Island and The Real World: New York are in italics in their articles. (Also, the way the article is phrased may suggest the episode is titled "Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two".)

I would have made a talk page section about this, but it seems like a relatively minor aspect. ObserveOwl (talk) 15:40, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@ObserveOwl I misread the article, I thought it was the title of an episode. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 15:47, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ah alright, didn't know you didn't know... :p ObserveOwl (talk) 15:53, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Source for year of birth

[edit]

While I have a Newspapers.com account, I did find a source identifying Emily Neves's age at the time of publication from the Houston Chronicle in this September 1998 issue and we can also use the Template:Birth based on age as of date for it. Unfortunately, a subscription is required to create an account. That said, I have a question: could it be used as a YOB source at a later time since I plan to get it up to B-class/GA-class at some point in the future? Thanks, sjones23 (talk - contributions) 19:11, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see why not. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 19:35, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Jonesta Richardson on 8th Antiaircraft Artillery Battalion (21:51, 23 October 2025)

[edit]

Hi there. I just recently found a picture of my Grandpa's unit. Is there a way to add the picture to the article? He has handwritten all names on the back of the picture. --Jonesta Richardson (talk) 21:51, 23 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Jonesta Richardson Welcome! In short, copyright rules are a pain in the whatever, and there is a lot of devil in the details. The basic assumption is that the copyright holder is the photographer, or that person's heir. I'm also assuming this pic is ca 1942-1945, and so probably (again, devil in the details) not in the public domain. Perhaps this applies, but I don't know that.
The answer might be "no", but here are some "rules" that apply:
Take a good look at these, and if you conclude you're good to go, you can upload it here. If you have more questions, try Commons:Help desk, and be as specific as you can (photographer, year, country of origin). Hope this helps some. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 05:12, 24 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from TPSHJS on Draft:Henry Joseph Shine (14:33, 26 October 2025)

[edit]

Hello I am creating a draft for the fist tme. I wish to add tags and also insert a photo ( I am not allowed to use fast uipload). When I click on either, it says "leave? your changes may not be saved. But the only way I can see to save the draft is to click Pulbish Page, which I am not ready do to. If you can advise how to save the draft I would appreiate it. Thanks, ~Trevor --TPSHJS (talk) 14:33, 26 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@TPSHJS "Publish" in this case means "save", you will save your changes (and create) to a draft titled Draft:Henry Joseph Shine, not the same as Henry Joseph Shine, which would be a WP article. Then you can keep working on the draft at your own pace. "Publish" is also meant to emphasize that even your draft is public, anyone on the internet who knows where it is can see it. Compare for example Draft:Huw Williams Music Producer. Hope this helps some. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 15:13, 26 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Gråbergs. Thank you for that. May I pleaed ask another questions. As I could not use th ethe fast upload for a photo, I did it the other way. Is is now somewherfe on Wikipedia, but how to I get to to appear in the biogrpahy Draft I have done? Thanks, Trevor TPSHJS (talk) 17:16, 26 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@TPSHJS File:HJS Wikipedia.jpg is actually on Commons, a related site, basically where WP keeps most pictures. I added it to your draft like so: [3], I used the "Use this file on a wiki" link you can see on the file page to get the thumb "code."
HOWEVER, you've stated that this pic is your "own work", meaning you took it yourself in 1980, and yet I find at for example [4]. Comment on that? Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:35, 26 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
HJ Shine, If you google Henry J Shine you will see that picture in a number of places and articles. It was in the days before digital cameras and I have the original print of it. TPSHJS (talk) 17:53, 26 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@TPSHJS Got it, but are you the photographer? The copyright generally belongs to the photographer. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:56, 26 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
In all hoesty, I cannot be 100% sure. I took most of the photos in those days and have had the oringinal in a frame since then so I assume I took it. But it was 45 years ago. I have thousands of negatives going back that far but they are not catalogued so finding it would an epic task. If it is preferable, I can use another one instead, that is more recent, and thus I would be 100% certain I took it. TPSHJS (talk) 18:12, 26 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@TPSHJS Sorry if I'm hounding you on this, but I mean well. WP/Commons are very strict on copyright, it comes from a desire to stay online without unnecessary bother.
When something previously published like this is uploaded, it's often the case that the uploader just found it online somewhere and put "own work" on it anyway, therefore such pics will often be nominated for deletion, and the uploader will have (there are other ways) to prove their ownership via mail to "save" them (we have a guide for that).
Also, copyright can be ridiculously complex. For all I know, this pic could be public domain per the Commons:Hirtle chart, but IANAL. Give me something like File:William-Shakespeare CoA 1602.jpg anyday, much easier to understand.
And the picture, though a good one, is not of critical importance anyway. Much more important is getting your references into WP-style, WP:TUTORIAL can help with that. Happy editing! Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 18:30, 26 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Dreamer765 (07:50, 27 October 2025)

[edit]

Hi, I want to ask you a question about editing contentious topics. Am I allowed to edit a contentious topic if it is listed as a suggested edit on my user page? --Dreamer765 (talk) 07:50, 27 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Dreamer765 I assume you mean something like WP:PIA, which demands WP:EXTENDED. The answer is no. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 07:56, 27 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The topic about the region of the region of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), broadly construed, including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups Dreamer765 (talk) 07:58, 27 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Gamergate press

[edit]

Hi there! I saw your addition of the Business Insider story to the banner at Talk:Gamergate. Both the publication and retrieve date are listed as October 29, 2024. I know the year is supposed to be 2025—a mistake I make all too often, myself. I would fix it myself but I don't have access to the paywalled BI story so I can't verify the rest of the date, plus I figured you will likely post this on other pages, given that the headline indicates it mentions at least five articles. It's great that you keep up on all the {{press}}! —Myceteae🍄‍🟫 (talk) 06:08, 31 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

heyyyy! q: what publications are considered credible? thxx! :) --Mrwonders2 (talk) 05:50, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Mrwonders2 Hello! I assume you mean what sources can be used in WP-articles. Context matters enormously, see general guidance at WP:RS. At WP:RSP is a list of sources that has been repeatedly discussed by Wikipedians, and if you scroll through that, you can get a sense of what's good. See also WP:BLOG and WP:ABOUTSELF. Read the template at the top of Draft:Knowa De Baraso. WP:MINORS may be of interest to you. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 09:13, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Got it, and read the minors slide, thx for that. I think the page is good and I appreciate your edits as well.
do you think this page is likely to get accepted? Mrwonders2 (talk) 09:18, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I've seen worse, but I haven't checked the sources and what they say. I've never heard of Scripps News, and WP:NEWSWEEK isn't very good for a WP:BLP, we try to be extra careful about those. A question, and you don't have to answer: are you the article-subject or someone close, like a friend or family member? Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 09:28, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
let me know what you think upon checking the sources if it’s likely to get published or not.
+ no, I am not affiliated with the article subject & you will see me write about and edit people in his niche Mrwonders2 (talk) 09:31, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 09:35, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
also, based on your experience do you see this page getting passed? Mrwonders2 (talk) 09:37, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Like I said, I haven't checked if the sources are WP:GNG-good, so I have no opinion atm. If I do check them, I'll say something. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 09:47, 2 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ok! Thx.

[edit]

Thank you for your heads-up but I can't say I'm interested in every new young person BIO article.

My interest in Raegan Revord stemmed from noticing how every main cast member in the Young Sheldon article had a blue link, except one (young) female. It was a long frustrating battle to finally get the article into mainspace, but never giving up helps!

If you find more mainstream television shows where female (main) cast members inexplicably get left out of Wikipedia, I might give it a look!

hiya! writing my first infobox, any advice? --Mrwonders2 (talk) 06:12, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If I add an infobox, my personal method is to copypaste the code/wikitext from an article on a similar topic that has one, and replace the info. In general, infoboxes are unnecessary in short articles, and they are never mandatory. If you add info that isn't included and cited in the article text (which it generally should be), you need to add citations in the infobox. If you intend to write about yourself (WP:COI), the short advice is "don't." Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 13:58, 4 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Mrwonders2 (02:56, 6 November 2025)

[edit]

I knew this would come up during my time editing influencer pages, especially pertaining to political influencers, someone vandalized the knowa page. at what point should we add a lock? thx. --Mrwonders2 (talk) 02:56, 6 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

More than that, probably. You can request protection at WP:RFPP. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 05:00, 6 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Press discussion @ RSN

[edit]

You may have already seen this, and I'm sure you're aware of this underlying press coverage issue: Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard#"Co-founder locks edits on Gaza genocide page". Just sharing as I thought you might find this interesting. —Myceteae🍄‍🟫 (talk) 16:54, 6 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Myceteae Yeah, I saw that, thanks! I've commented on it elsewhere. With this and Grokipedia, the WP-media coverage has been crazy intense lately. The Jimbo-thing is now mentioned at Wikipedia_and_the_Israeli–Palestinian_conflict#Jimmy_Wales. And of course there is a "mentioned in media" template on the talkpage, there and on Grokipedia. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:05, 6 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It's a lot to keep up with! I mostly don't, but of course the topic is of interest to me and pops up regularly in venues I frequent on- and off-wiki. —Myceteae🍄‍🟫 (talk) 17:17, 6 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

New editor

[edit]

Just two weeks left in the classes I am teaching. I am really worn out. I wanted to let you know one of my grandsons is a new editor here -- Pauper Karl I have bragged about you to him and thought you might say hi and welcome. If not that's okay too! I'll be back soon! Jenhawk777 (talk) 21:24, 6 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Jenhawk777 I wrote something! I thought you'd be busy, so I haven't bothered you with any WP-news coverage, but it's been intense lately, which can be seen at WP:PRESS 25 October and November. Jimbo Wales is also thought by some to have put his foot in it lately, so there are ANI-threads etc on that. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 06:18, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Boybush (01:52, 9 November 2025)

[edit]

Greetings. A Wikipedia article re Queensland Police Commissioner Cecil J CARROLL reported he joined a Masonic Lodge in England in 1887.

This person was born in Queensland, Australia in 1888.

The existing report is in error and should be removed. I can type but at age 91 am not computer literate. I will leave the correction to Wikipedia.

Thank you. Thomas J Mahon JP Bcs --Boybush (talk) 01:52, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I see nothing about a masonic lodge at Cecil James Carroll. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 08:22, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your removed the ownership history from the infobox of a painting in accordance with template rules. I see other paintings that have ownership history. May I remove the ownership history from the infobox of any painting? LDW5432 (talk) 23:08, 11 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please warn when reverting

[edit]

Hello. Just saw your revert of a vandal at Knowa De Baraso. Please remember to warn after reverting. Blowing past warnings makes it easier for admins to block, and sometimes vandals stop after realizing we can see what they're doing. Toadspike [Talk] 12:42, 13 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Do you want to take a look?

ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:31, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, i believe i made adjustments to the page and have submitted it now. Is it possible to know which exact parts needed more reliable sources. That would help me alot. --MariArmani (talk) 11:55, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thread reply sequencing

[edit]

Truly nbd at all, but shouldn't your 20:52, 18 Nov. comment at that endlessly rehashed hamburger discussion go after the one at 00:55, 17 Nov., instead of before it, as replies at the same level of indent are replying to the same post and therefore appear chronologically? There is no confusion for readers, so I don't think any change is required in this situation and so you can just leave it, but just wanted to point it out for the general principle involved, in case you read WP:THREAD differently than I do. Cheers, Mathglot (talk) 01:33, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Mathglot I noticed, but didn't bother to change at the time. You see, I clicked reply to Strongwranglers last comment, I'm guessing it got there because of the boxes. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 05:48, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Anant2001Jain on Wikipedia:About (16:40, 19 November 2025)

[edit]

How to create a webpage on Wikipedia --Anant2001Jain (talk) 16:40, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Anant2001Jain Hello!
If your choice of subject fails WP:N, the article will not be accepted. On how to add references correctly, WP:TUTORIAL can help with that. This is crucial, and I can't stress that enough. Really. If you intend to write about a living person, read WP:BLP. If you intend to write about yourself (WP:COI), the short advice is "don't." Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 16:44, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Nanogalaxy172 (17:44, 24 November 2025)

[edit]

Hi there! I'm very inexperienced, but I was wondering what the etiquette is for making more major changes to articles; adding paragraphs etc. Thanks! --Nanogalaxy172 (talk) 17:44, 24 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Nanogalaxy172 Basically, WP:BEBOLD! If someone disagrees with you, WP:COMMUNICATE! Since you are new, there may be various rules you don't know about, so don't take it personally if people revert you because of them. Good sourcing is essential, so make sure you know how to add references correctly when needed. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:49, 24 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome! Thank you! Nanogalaxy172 (talk) 17:53, 24 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Dixcin (01:16, 27 November 2025)

[edit]

Hello and thank god. What an ORDEAL it took to get here. Please forgive my not usually short temper. Correction it isn't short it's just been a friggin obstacle course of bombs, grenades n booby traps to get here. ALL I WANTED was to say THERE IS NO LIST OF PRIZES listed where they claim they are in the science contest. That's all, that it. That's what I wanted to know and report.. they are not listed under the prizes & something else heading. Could you please send the prizes offered to me here? I'm 67 yrs old and the Internet is Not my second language. Not did I cut my eyeteeth on it. Thank you love. Dixcin (Cindy Clayton) pleasure to meet you. 🦃 Happy Turkey day. Blessed be --Dixcin (talk) 01:16, 27 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Dixcin You're writing on Wikipedia, I'm a Wikipedia-editor, meaning WP is my hobby. I have no idea what you're talking about, but it doesn't seem WP-related to me, and I don't know what prizes you are talking about. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 04:38, 27 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to know

[edit]

I am still learning how the page-move process works, and I am not fully confident about placing a Requested Move discussion in the correct format. Since my account is not autoconfirmed yet, I am also unable to move the page myself. Would it be acceptable if I read through the move guidelines more carefully and handle the title change myself after I become autoconfirmed in a few days? If that is not recommended, please let me know the best way to proceed. Thank you for your patience as I am learning these processes. Non-Veg Craft (talk) 10:44, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Non-Veg Craft I tried to move it myself, but since the target already exists, I'm not able to, it needs an admin or someone with WP:PAGEMOVER right. If it helps, I think this falls under Wikipedia:Requested_moves#Requesting_technical_moves, it's less complicated than a full-blown discussion like Talk:Czech_Republic#Requested_move_22_October_2025. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 10:51, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Gråbergs Gråa Sång Thank you for the explanation. That makes things much clearer. Since the target title already exists and a normal move isn’t possible, I’ll follow your recommendation and submit it as a technical move request under the appropriate section at Requested Moves. I appreciate your help Non-Veg Craft (talk) 10:58, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Appreciation for your copyedits on Dark meat

[edit]

Hi dear.. @Gråbergs Gråa Sång thank you for the clean copyedits and the improvements you made to the Dark meat article. I appreciate you catching and fixing the issues I missed during drafting. Your edits helped make the article clearer and more consistent with the guidelines. Thanks again for the assistance. Non-Veg Craft (talk) 17:40, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Gråbergs Gråa Sång I wanted your opinion before I start. While researching, I found that the topic can support two possible levels of expansion.(A) a moderate expansion with general anatomy, nutrition, and global cuicuisiner or (B) a full large-scale expansion with industry data, cooking chemistry, global markets.... From a Wikipedia perspective, which approach do you think fits this article better? I want to build it in a way that aligns with community expectations...(: Non-Veg Craft (talk) 18:10, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I don't really have an informed opinion, I don't edit food-articles a lot. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 20:05, 3 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Gråbergs Gråa Sång Thanks for taking a moment to respond. No worries at all your earlier help on my previous articles was already very useful. Since this topic is more in the food/animal-science area, I’ll wait for someone familiar with food-related pages to take a look. I appreciate your reply and the time you took to check the question.
