Hi Jevansen! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Sport climbing at the 2009 World Games – Women's lead and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thanks. It's not a major issue, I think it just adds the BLP warning template to the talk page, and that tracking cat assumes that every page with the WP:Biography template should have it defined. Andrew Cunanan

Many users are changing Andrew Cunanan’s page to that of a spree killer. According the the FBI, Cunanan was a serial killer. The FBI lists serial killers and spree killers differently. Hey. This seems more of a content dispute rather than vandalism. You can report these edits with a post at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism, and an administrator can protect the page if they deem it necessary, but keep in mind it needs to be "obvious vandalism" and they need to have received adequate warnings. Help me to understand why you are removing Grade 1 listed buildings from their county categories

I noticed that you are removing a lot of Grade 1 listed buildings from their county categories. (Example: [1], and there were a pile more on my watchlist.) Why are you doing this? Was there a discussion that came to the conclusion that these categories should not be used? I'm not saying you're doing anything wrong, but I'm not seeing why these categories are being removed. New run of articles to WikiProject Japan

Hi there 👋

It seems like you sent a whole lot of articles to WikiProject Japan - thank you ever so much, that is super helpful. I wonder though, were you perhaps running a bot to move them? Or doing it by hand? Either way, it would be super super helpful if you could rate almost all of them as importance=low when you move them across. I’ve been beavering away at the uncategorised ones for a few months now, and had gotten it ALMOST down to zero from about 4000. Since you’re in there anyway, it would be lovely if we weren’t double handling them 👍

Hi. Good job working through these. I can see how this would be frustrating and yes these were added using a semi–automated tool. So, I might be able to bulk change some of these to low importance to get the numbers down. With sportspeople, it may be possible to identify the "lows" utilising categories and existing ratings (if their sport WP has them classed as low for example). Entertainers are trickier. From memory these were the two groupings I was working off. I shouldn't be doing any more bulk additions of WikiProject Japan anytime soon .. but if I do I'll bear this in mind. Hi. My main goal is add biographies to the Category:People by century and nationality tree. Breaking them down by (primary) occupation + gender makes over 100 grouping to process separately and determine which occupation is "primary"), making the task rather unmanageable. Consolidating mass category changes (cont)

Hi. Following up from this discussion from last year, I think I've found a fix for the issue, which one of the folks at Commons recommended. QuickCategories allows multiple categories to be changed in one edit, and it's easy to use. I just used it here and it works! More Categories

Is it ok if I add some more categories to the list ? Those will be related to my research, particularly on optical fibers, photonics and telecommunication. We discourage people writing about themselves ... so best thing would be for you to propose any changes at Talk:Giok Djan Khoe. If you're proposing any categories to be added you should first make sure any such category already exists. What you're after would likely sit within Category:Researchers by field. Please don't forget to add all the relevant parent categories

I've noticed you occasionally miss a parent category when creating categories at the intersection of an occupation and a populated place. For example, I stumbled upon Category:Activists from Beijing. It was missing Chinese activists as the parent. I added it, but please double check that you've added all the relevant parents. Thanks! Greetings Jevansen, While doing assessments for Category:Unassessed Africa articles and Category:Unassessed Athletics articles I noticed articles where the "WP added" without any assessment. Wondering if you know about Rater tool that is easy to use & very helpful to assess articles. The backlog of "Unassessed articles" is over 150,000 articles. Hey Joe. If I remember to, I will pre–populate my script with the "stub" rating if the article is below a certain size. Some are clearly stubs based on article size so I'll mark them as such to avoid adding to the backlog you're diligently working through. John W. Gruner entry

I don't know how this works, exactly, and who is in charge of this wikipedia article, but I am a granddaughter of John W. Gruner, and notice that the photo in the article is not really characteristic of JW in his prime years (the photo is from when he was about 33). I have some other photos and information if somebody wants to post one or more. Otherwise, the article is pretty accurate, although the lead (receiving the Roebling Medal) is somewhat hidden.
