| Welcome to Keivan.f's talk page. I will generally respond here to comments that are posted here, rather than replying via your talk page (or the article's talk page, if you are writing to me here about an article), so you may want to watch this page until you are responded to, or let me know where specifically you'd prefer the reply. I will try to WP:PING you as well. Conversely if you are replying to something I've said on another talk page, reply there and include {{ping|Keivan.f}} to alert me. |
| Please don't template me! Everybody makes mistakes, and this user finds user warning templates impersonal and disrespectful. If there's something you'd like to say, please take a moment to write a comment below in your own words. |

Albert of Saxe-Coburg And Gotha
[edit]I changed the image in the infobox because the photograph previously on it was not of the best resolution, so a portrait of him, or a higher resolution photograph of him would be better. Also, if it contained an image of Queen Victoria at the time of the wedding, or a little bit later, it would be better to put that on the Royal Consort Part than a portrait of Albert, or just add the Victoria image as a second image in the part. Richard the Lionheart MS (talk) 19:52, 13 November 2025 (UTC)
- That's understandable. But please bear in mind that a photograph of a historical figure may be preferred in such cases to a portrait painting. Regardless of my personal feelings about this, a change in the infobox image of any article usually requires a consensus on that article's talk page. You can bring this up at Talk:Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and see if your suggestion garners any support. Keivan.fTalk 20:24, 13 November 2025 (UTC)
ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:34, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
New images
[edit]I’m not a professional photographer, and I imagine most of us aren’t. How do you go about adding new images to Commons—such as ones found in an e-book, magazine, news site, and so on—when it’s permitted to do so? I’d appreciate your guidance. Cheers. MSincccc (talk) 16:07, 3 December 2025 (UTC)
- Start by reading through this page on the Commons, which pretty much says everything that I would also tell you. Pay attention to details on licensing, and you can seek advice at the help desk if you have any questions. Keivan.fTalk 03:13, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
