    • Please make sure your request is "legitimate" by copyright. If the image(s) are in the public domain or freely licensed, you are fine. If the image(s) are "Fair use", there are only certain things we can do with them without falling afoul of Wikipedia's fair-use policies.
      • If you are requesting assistance with a copyright or fair-use image, don't display it on this page; place {{GLNF|Example.png|caption|align=left}} to create a link to it. Do not add the File: extension. Our fair-use policy does not allow displaying fair-use images out of their articles on ANY account.

    @Cmglee: Ok, will this affect your vectorization of this flag in any way? It seems that whoever designed the flag just got the first silhouette of a stag from a website and copied it to the flag. It does seem to be the design used on physical flags of Uddel in real life, according to this Dutch website that sells flags https://www.vlaggen.com/p/vlag-uddel/.     We really need to get some clarification from the village of Uddel over who designed the flag and where the design for the silhouette. My theory is that the silhouette is a stock image taken someplace online and that both Echo Deer and Wildacker used the same image. This kind of scenario has happened at least once before. In 2023, there was a contest in Martinique (a Caribbean island that's also a French overseas territory) to design a flag for the island and the original winner was a design that had a hummingbird. The design of the hummingbird was taken from the Shutterstock website (where the designs are copyrighted) and when this was discovered, there was controversy in Martinique because of that. As a result, the flag's designer Anaïs Delwaulle asked for her flag to be withdrawn from consideration from Assembly of Martinique. The Assembly complied with Delwaulle's request and the Assembly instead voted for a preexisting design known as "rouge-vert-noir" used by Martinique independence campaigners. We must find out where the stag silhouette on Uddel's flag comes from, and most importantly, we must find out its license and clarify if it's legal to upload on Wikipedia. Otherwise, the "Hoge Raad van Adel" license is incorrect and not only will this flag be deleted from Wikipedia for copyright violation, Uddel will itself be forced to change the flag as it's a copyright infringement and violates Dutch legislation which states that official flags of Dutch municipalities and provinces are public domain.     @Cmglee: That's good that you found two stock image sources. Now we need to contact Uddel village, find out who designed the flag and if they took the stag silhouette from one of those websites or not. If it comes from a site such as Openclipart which explicitly allows free use of their images and relinquish all copyrights from them, then it's probably OK!     That's an insightful graph. If you can find the lengths of the bars in a table (more accurate than measuring off the diagram), I'll be happy to remake it. I'd overlay it over a faded map of the world to make it easier to identify which region is which.     Thank you for offering to help! I tracked down an Excel file with relevant data at https://zenodo.org/records/17059785 . This data appears to be used for a chart on page 1639 in the 2025 EAT-Lancet report.[1] The report is available through the Wikipedia Library, or if you email me I can email you a copy. I did not find any data to explain the "other" category or why some bars in the Guardian's chart are grey instead of pink. I think it would be OK to just leave them out.     @Cmglee and Clayoquot: I get the following data from the "pivot table" tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet. I hope Clayoquot can verify if that is the needed data.
    cmglee: I am able to copy the sloppy-looking text from below and paste it into an Excel spreadsheet, and the data arranges in nice rows and columns as in the original source. I hope this helps.
    (The Lancet chart was merely a horizontal bar chart; I'm not even sure if it's the same data, sorry.)

    Comparison of current intake by world region compared with the recommended planetary health diet

    Thanks for getting the data. I'm unsure what the codes WLD, HIC etc map to, as the number of rows is not eight as in Guardian's graphic. Splitting the world into 7 regions (+PHD) fits comfortably in my opinion.

    @Cmglee: By the process of elimination (not affirmative reasoning ;-) ), I think WLD/World might indeed be the planetary health diet.     I've put in @RCraig09:'s data (please refresh and see thumbnail above). It seems WLD is world average, so I used the table from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planetary_health_diet#Definition,_composition . The charts are very different from Guardian's graphic.
    The numbers are also hard to see as Sub-Saharan Africa's 978.61 g of roots overwhelms most other values. I could use a log graph or truncate it, but it might mislead. Any suggestions? cmɢʟee τaʟκ (please add {{ping|cmglee}} to your reply) 22:02, 5 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
    @Cmglee: Sorry, I've always been at a loss for the details of the requested chart. SSA's roots values seem to be large in comparison to other bars, but not as extreme as you note. Maybe Clayoquot could zero in on what is the exact data source, and the ultimate goal.     Based on page 4 of this file, I would appreciate it if someone would help me render the first three seals of "Mẫu số 1" (CHỦ TỊCH NƯỚC for the President of Vietnam, THỦ TƯỚNG CHÍNH PHỦ for Prime Minister of Vietnam, and CHỦ TỊCH QUỐC HỘI for the Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, the 3 of them and ignore the fourth one), as well as the "Mẫu số 2" one (CHÍNH PHỦ NƯỚC CỘNG HÒA X.H.C.N. VIỆT NAM for the Government of Vietnam). The font should be Times New Roman or something similar, and the color should be pure red (RGB/CMYK/HTML). In Wikimedia Commons, they can be named "2012 seal of the President/Prime Minister/National Assembly Chairperson/Government of the S.R.     • I found that there were some missing in this map. Six countries including Luxembourg, the Republic of Ireland, Cyprus, Armenia, Burma and Cambodia, together with Germany, France, Greece, Russia, China, Vietnam and other countries, opposing the Iraq War. I suggest changing the colors of the six countries including Luxembourg, the Republic of Ireland, Cyprus, Armenia, Burma and Cambodia to the same blue color as those of Germany, France, Greece, Russia, China and Vietnam.
      I found that there were some missing in this map.     Flags of Almkerk and Andel

    Hi! I was wondering if someone can kindly please vectorize the flags of two Dutch villages, Almkerk and Andel? The flags consist two fish, one on the top facing the hoist, one at the bottom facing the fly with a wavy pattern separating the two. On Almkerk's flag, the field is yellow and the fish and wavy pattern are red. On Andel's flag, the field is white and the fish and wavy pattern are green. Neither flag is currently on Wikipedia but Almkerk's flag can be seen by clicking here https://www.vlaggen.com/p/vlag-almkerk/ and Andel's flag can be seen by clicking here https://www.vlaggen.com/p/vlag-andel/. As you can see when you click both links, both flags are identical to each other apart from the colors. The fact that both villages are in the municipality of Altena, North Brabant implies that this isn't a coincidence but deliberate. The same goes for their respective coat of arms too which uses the same color scheme as their flags, though there the design is different in the coat of arms though, the fish are upright and beside each other (though facing in opposite directions) and there is no wavy pattern between. Andel's coat of arms also swaps the colors makes the field green and the fish white, contrasting with Almkerk's which keeps the field yellow and the fish red as it is in the flag.     Hi! I was wondering if someone can kindly please vectorize both the flag and the logo of the Tatenokai? Both the flag and logo depicts a red Kabuto on a white field surrounded by a red border. The flag is a rectangle and the helmet is very close to the hoist in that version but the logo is square and has the helmet in the exact center. Although the flag and the logo use different reds in the raster versions shown above, please use the same red in both vector versions, preferably the red from the flag of Japan.     Hi! I was wondering if someone can kindly please correct the coats of arms of Dutch New Guinea and the Republic of West Papua? In both cases, the shields are in particular need of it. The vertical red and white stripes in both are of different widths even though they're both based on the national flag and are all the same height in that (the stripes are horizontal in the flag). I also recommend that the the shield from the improved coats of arms is also uploaded as a separate file as something along of the lines of "Coat of arms of West Papua.svg" or "Shield of West Papua.svg" because it is the same shield used in both.     In c:File:Map of Achaemenid Imperial Satraps (English Version).png, the furthest left satrapy is called "Putāyā (Lydia)", while it needs to be "Putāyā (Libya)" (Ancient Libya in North Africa, and not Lydia in Asia Minor). This is confirmed by the Encyclopaedia Iranica, which is said to be the source of the map in the file description. Sadly the map is in png so it is not so easy to fix.
