There are two positional parameters, and three named parameters:
|1= – status code; one of: gr (generally reliable), gu (generally unreliable), nc (no consensus); required .|2= – name of the source (optional; default: {{ SUBPAGENAME }} )|shortcut= – boxed shortcut to add to the message (optional)|more= – additional text to append to the message (optional)|demo=no – drops the box with the disclaimer about being a test version (optional; default: emit disclaimer)
