Clearly the same user, picked up right where he left off at the time of the block. Let's get this over with. Equazcion •✗/C • 11:41, 18 Mar 2008 (UTC)
- I think User:Squatt is also a sockpuppet of Bsharvy. Squatt is a newly created user and has beamed straight to the Anti-Americanism article, at the same time as 'Bshanvy': deleting stuff and adding a tag as Bsarvy used to do and making similar comments in the edit summaries, and seeming to be quite knowledgeable about wikipedia editing - despite first registering about a day ago. As Bsarvy, on his Talk page, threatened to come back as a new user plus sockpuppet I think the identification is very probable. Colin4C (talk) 12:19, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- I'd agree there. Squatt proceeded directly after account creation to make basically the same edits as Bsharvy was trying to make when he was blocked (on Anti-Americanism). Those have been Squatt's only contribs so far. Equazcion •✗/C • 12:33, 18 Mar 2008 (UTC)
The person who deleted my comment should restore it. If it's in the wrong section, move it. Don't delete it. Squatt (talk) 03:51, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm not quite sure where your comment belongs. It seems to be intended for Talk:Anti-Americanism. If you indeed did mean it as a comment in this discussion, feel free to restore it yourself. You seem to now be aware of where general comments are supposed to go. Equazcion •✗/C • 04:00, 19 Mar 2008 (UTC)

Confirmed and blocked. Obvious troll account. --slakr\ talk / 14:41, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply] - Squatt (talk · contribs) -
Likely
Confirmed – there are relatively few data points in comparison to the others. Judging by the style, I'd say they're similar. As for now, I've semi-protected the page due to the influx of seemingly single-purpose accounts, pending a checkuser, perhaps. Juding by my investigation from the first case, Bsharvy edited from a school range (which isn't inherently obvious from the WHOIS on the IP-- you have to look at the actual peering route from kornet to see it), while Rachel63 (talk · contribs) edited from a normal ISP access range (i.e, for Korea Telecom). Both were geographically close, so my guess is that one account was use primarily for edits made at work while the other was used primarily for edits made at home, given the exclusive editing intervals (i.e., one edits for a block of several hours, then another edits for a block of several hours). I'd suspect a similar pattern would be seen in these two users.
- However, I'd like someone else to weigh in on this, as I was involved in the first investigation (see SSP/Bsharvy), so I don't want to possibly tunnel-vision or anything. :P Cheers =) --slakr\ talk / 14:41, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
While based on their editing history Rachel63 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) may be a sock of Bsharvy (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) this is not confirmed by checkuser, although they do edit from the same country. Squatt (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), on the other hand is the same editor as Bsharvy as confirmed by checkuser. - Unblock Bsharvy: These ips are for the record. Honestly, Rachel62 seems like a sock of somebody but not of Bsharvy. I don't think Rachel63 (talk · contribs) and Bsharvy (talk · contribs) are the same person because it is almost impossible for one person to move back and forth in two areas to just edit Wikipedia (see the no.2 and 9 in the table). The both places are situated in Gyeonggi Province, Ilsan of which is alsmot 50 minutes away from Ansan by car with 100km/h if they(?) are lucky enough to have no traffic jam on the high way (just one route). If Bsharvy or Rachel63 did not have their car, they have to move by public transportation such as subway which takes over 2 hours.
The two cities are suburban residents from Seoul, so unless they are not long term residents or their work place is near the places, most of foreigners live in Seoul. I don't know what school Bsharvy is working but if he lives in Ilsan, his school may be in Sinchon such as Yonsei University, Ewha Women's University, or Sogang University. In Ansan has Hanyang University, so it is unnatural that Bsharvy commutes from his resident place, Ilsan to Ansan.
I don't know anything about ongoing discussions or edits on Anti-Americanism and don't share any point of view on Korean cuisine with Bsharvy. However, I think his block is a mistake from several coincidence and we can't block him for content disputes. --Appletrees (talk) 19:09, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- I removed some personally identifiable information from Appletrees' evidence below (mostly just stuff that revealed specific IPs used). Just FYI. If an admin thinks they should be replaced then please do so, but I thought it was a rather unnecessary revelation of personal information, something we don't usually post publicly. Thanks. - I wonder if Bsharvy and Rachel are married? And who does the cooking? Just a thought...Colin4C (talk) 00:19, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
