Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Utopes were:
This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

COI Disclosure

[edit]

On your user page, you state that you are "a close relation (family member) to Abu Hasan Muhammed Jahangir", but since your username is the same, I think you need to be clearer what that relation is. Assadzadeh (talk) 16:08, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Assadzadeh,
Thank you for raising this point. I realize my user page statement was confusing.
I am Abu Hasan Muhammed Jahangir myself. I was simply trying to state that I am the subject of some recent media coverage and have a personal interest in ensuring the information on the Port Alberni page, which mentions my community work, is accurate.
I understand that having a username matching a real person's name may imply that I am the subject of the article itself, but I am not intending to edit my own biography (WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY). I have only edited articles related to my local community (Port Alberni and Alberni Valley).
I will update my user page immediately to clarify that I am **Abu Hasan Muhammed Jahangir** and that I am aware of the strict rules regarding editing with a conflict of interest (WP:COI). I will stick to editing articles where my local knowledge is helpful, as advised by the community.
Please let me know if you have any further concerns. Abujahangir (talk) 17:15, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I note that your addition of the 'Sports' section to Port Alberni was not reverted, unlike your edits to Alberni Valley, Vancouver Island, Vancouver, and British Columbia. Also, your edit to Port Alberni seems to comply with WP:NPOV, especially the last paragraph. So, I would suggest that you not attempt to add additional information to the latter four pages, as you have proposed on their talk pages.
In addition, although I did not object to your addition of Alberni Valley as a potential pre-tournament training base camp to 2026 FIFA World Cup, now that I know you are personally involved with the local organizing group, I will ensure that the article maintains its NPOV. Finally, unless a national team eventually accepts the invitation to train there, I will suggest removing the section altogether, as it would then become irrelevant. So, please ensure that you include a reference should the invitation be accepted. Assadzadeh (talk) 19:16, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Assadzadeh Thank you very much for this detailed and helpful analysis.
I am glad the 'Sports' section for Port Alberni complies with WP:NPOV. I fully accept your suggestion and will not make any further attempts to edit the Alberni Valley, Vancouver Island, or British Columbia articles regarding the World Cup bid.
Regarding the 2026 FIFA World Cup article: I understand that the information on the training base may be removed if the bid does not proceed, as per WP:CRYSTAL. But this information is fact as it's a process of FIFA recognized facility which Port Alberni earned. To ensure neutrality and avoid speculation, I will not add any further information about the bid to any Wikipedia article until a national team has officially accepted the invitation to train there. Abujahangir (talk) 19:46, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I think this response alleviates NPOV concerns. I'm satisfied. Masterhatch (talk) 20:16, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Masterhatch It's so encouraging to me and my learning process. Abujahangir (talk) 20:18, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Abujahangir, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. ScrabbleTiles (talk) 15:53, 18 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@ScrabbleTiles Hello ScrabbleTiles,
Thank you for reaching out.
I can confirm I am only one person operating this single account, Abujahangir. I do not use any other accounts, and I am not coordinating with anyone else to edit Wikipedia.
I have disclosed my connection (COI) with Bob Dailey Stadium on my Talk Page and Abu Hasan Muhammed Jahangir on my user page and I am following the rules by submitting my draft through the Articles for Creation (AfC) process.
Any suspicious editing pattern might be because I am editing from using multiple wifi, office, or home and mobile data. I am committed to following all rules with this one account. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.
Thank you, Abujahangir (talk) 16:52, 18 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
What about User:Abuhasanjahangir? You appear to be editing the same articles and are working in each others userspaces. ScrabbleTiles (talk) 17:04, 18 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@ScrabbleTiles The User:Abuhasanjahangir account is also me. I created it by accident when I was trying to upload photos for the draft to Wikimedia Commons (the image site). I thought I was using my main account, Abujahangir. I must have made a mistake or the system had me create a slightly different username for that project.
I have not used the Abuhasanjahangir account for anything other than that image upload attempt. I will try to close that if there is any way. Abujahangir (talk) 17:12, 18 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You cannot close accounts, only vanish them. It might be easier just to put Template:User alternative account banner on the other account instead but your choice. ScrabbleTiles (talk) 17:23, 18 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@ScrabbleTiles Thanks for your advice, I will try to vanish it within the weekend. Abujahangir (talk) 17:26, 18 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Vanishing process completed. Appreciate your guidance. Abuhasanjahangir (talk) 01:29, 19 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:

Your draft shows signs of having been generated by a large language model, such as ChatGPT. Their outputs usually have multiple issues that prevent them from meeting our guidelines on writing articles. These include:
Please address these issues. The best way is usually to read reliable sources and summarize them, instead of using a large language model. See our help page on large language models.

Draft:Bob Dailey Stadium

[edit]

I just read your Draft:Bob Dailey Stadium. Looks like you are still using AI (Large language model) to write for you. The stadium may or may not be notable enough for its own article but please use your own words to write it. Using your own words will improve the chances that it'll be approved. Masterhatch (talk) 16:40, 25 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I truly appreciate you catching that and helping guide me through the learning process of Wikipedia article writing and editing. I have now resubmitted the draft for review. Please feel free to write your opinion if you have any other opnions or notes. Thank you once again. Abujahangir (talk) 22:41, 25 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the region of South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), broadly construed, including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days in order to make edits related to two subtopics: (1) Indian military history, or (2) social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
