Shortcuts
Please review Wikipedia:Rollback before making a request. Successful applicants will usually have:
  1. At least 200 mainspace edits.
  2. At least a month of experience patrolling Special:RecentChanges.
  3. No recent history of edit warring.
  4. A track record of consistently notifying editors when reverting their edits.
The counter-vandalism training program is available if you wish to gain experience in handling vandalism.

I’ve been patrolling recent changes consistently and have handled a substantial amount of vandalism. I also pending changes reviewing rights. Gaining rollback rights would allow me to respond more quickly and effectively, especially during spikes in vandalism, and would support the work I’m already doing.  Not done, you only have ~30 reverts and three weeks activity patrolling Special:RecentChanges, whereas we'd generally like a little more experience before granting. Twinkle is a very handy tool for counter-vandalism and might be useful to you. Giraffer (talk) 12:13, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I've been handling vandalism for quite a while now, I have a chunk more than 1000 edit's the majority of which are dealing in vandalisum(the rest of witch are other simmalar activitys). You were previously blocked for your misuse of edit summaries; while that doesn't appear to have fully restarted, I am not really a fan of the tone of some of your newer summaries. [2] [3] [4] WP:DENY is central to counter-vandalism, and the linked summaries don't give me much faith that it is going to be followed. I have been patrolling recent changes for a while. I currently use Ultraviolet when patrolling recent changes, but would like to try AntiVandal to expand my toolbox, which requires rollback. I use the standard warning templates with Ultraviolet, although I do have a set of "uw-0" style messages that I use occasionally. mdm.bla 03:21, 19 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have been RC patrolling for over two months now. Clicking individual diff links to revert edits is very inefficient and unnecessary, and I believe having rollback could fix this. I have over 4,500 edits and I've actually been on for just a little less than a year now and have some good experience of reverting vandalism. I have patrolled the recent changes and have reverted some bad faith edits. I have run into a few times where I would have liked to be able to revert the full vandalism someone made so I would like to have rollback rights to do so.
