Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard
|
|
|
For sensitive matters, you may contact an individual bureaucrat directly by e-mail.
The Bureaucrats' noticeboard is a place where items related to the Bureaucrats can be discussed and coordinated. Any user is welcome to leave a message or join the discussion here. Please start a new section for each topic.
This is not a forum for grievances. It is a specific noticeboard addressing Bureaucrat-related issues. If you want to know more about an action by a particular bureaucrat, you should first raise the matter with them on their talk page. Please stay on topic, remain civil, and remember to assume good faith. Take extraneous comments or threads to relevant talk pages.
If you are here to report that an RFA or an RFB is "overdue" or "expired", please wait at least 12 hours from the scheduled end time before making a post here about it. There are a fair number of active bureaucrats; and an eye is being kept on the time remaining on these discussions. Thank you for your patience.

Inactive user
[edit]Hello, I just wanted to say that Corvus cornix (t · th · c · del · cross-wiki · SUL · edit counter · pages created (xtools · sigma) · non-automated edits · BLP edits · undos · manual reverts · rollbacks · logs (blocks · rights · moves) · rfar · spi · cci) has been retired since 2011 and still has autopatrolled and rollbacker user groups. Can you remove these? BritTrainLover801 (talk) 06:58, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- (Non-bureaucrat comment) @BritTrainLover801, this isn't a case for the Bureaucrats' noticeboard; any administrator can grant or revoke those permissions. Regardless, we don't normally revoke rollback and pending changes reviewer (not autopatrolled) for inactivity -- some rights (e.g. autopatrolled, new pages reviewer) do have inactivity removals, but rollback and PCR do not. - Ah, okay. Thanks for the heads up. BritTrainLover801 (talk) 14:55, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
Bot flag
[edit]There is one bot at Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Approved that has been pending a flag since November 23. Posting here to draw attention. Thanks! Anomie⚔ 15:31, 29 November 2025 (UTC)

Done. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 16:26, 29 November 2025 (UTC) - I'm glad this was posted here, because I regularly read this page and otherwise would have missed the implementation of this bot; see Wikipedia talk:Speedy deletion#Weird corner cases with U6 for more.
